Ashdod – New Beit Halochem Premises

A brand new 8,000 sq. metre Beit Halochem facility in Ashdod is scheduled to be built along the coast of Ashdod’s Southern Riviera. The Centre, for which excavation and building work started on 1 December 2016, will serve the more than 6,500 Zahal Disabled Veterans living in that region. It’s estimated completion date is June 2019. In addition to the regular activities offered at the Beit Halochem Centres, the new Ashdod Centre will place a strong emphasis on the development of marine sports. The planned membership will be 6,700 disabled Veterans. The Centre will also be open to civilian victims of terror, as well as to orphans and widows of deceased IDF soldiers, and it will offer special outreach programmes to local underprivileged children.
