Legacy

WHAT YOU LEAVE BEHIND WILL HELP THEM BUILD THEIR LIVES

If you choose to leave your legacy to Beit Halochem, you are giving new lives to the veterans who sacrificed their lives defending Israel.

Your legacy will mean we can continue to provide recreation centres, specialised sports facilities, physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, PTSD programmes, a support network and a variety of other specialised, invaluable services.

More than that, your legacy will mean that we can repay the courage and rebuild the lives of each veteran who thought their life was over.

We appreciate every legacy that is promised to Beit Halochem. You may wish to support a specific Beit Halochem Centre or a specific project. We are here to discuss options with you.

We also understand that leaving a legacy can be complex, so we recommend you consult a solicitor, who will provide you with specialist advice on what type of legacy is best for you.

If you would like more information or wish to discuss your legacy in greater detail, we can put you in touch with a law firm that can assist you.

The photo of Shlomo Ivgy and Barabara Cohen was taken at Beit Halochem UK Golf Event. Shlomo, a Golani Infantry Brigade veteran, became wheelchair-bound at 18 years old after an injury during basic training. His dream to play golf was realised when Beit Halochem received a Para golfer machine from UK donors.

This event marked a pivotal moment for Barbara Cohen, who, deeply moved by Shlomo’s story, became passionately involved with Beit Halochem. Inspired by Shlomo’s testimonial, Barbara honoured her late husband, Ralph Cohen, by gifting another Para golfer machine to the charity, sparking a lasting relationship.

In her own words, “Beit Halochem is like a family, it realises dreams and gives back purpose and hope

Despite Barbara’s passing in June 2021, her generous legacy continues to impact Beit Halochem, funding the renovation of the Tel Aviv Beit Halochem Centre’s Sports Hall. Barbara’s memory remains cherished by all involved with Beit Halochem UK, reflecting her profound dedication and impact on the organisation.
