The first of the JFS Lavi groups visited Beit Halochem, Tel Aviv on the 31 December. The group of 40 pupils were nearing the end of the 9 week stay in Israel and the feedback following this visit was very positive. They took part in a tour of the Centre and played wheelchair basketball alongside veterans. One of the pupils, Dan Zermansky, has chosen to walk 20K for Beit Halochem in January. The group very much enjoyed meeting the veterans, talking to them about their injuries and finding out about their rehabilitation. The second Lavi group will also be visiting the Centre later this year.
