The annual Beit Halochem Whisky Tasting Evening took place on Thursday 10th November at The Waterway Pub in Maida Vale. A special thanks goes to The First Restaurant Group, generous sponsor of the event, whose owner Mitchell Tillman is a friend of the charity. 70 people attended the evening in which a total of £19,500 was raised, including the auction of a very special 1975 Glenlivet Whisky which was sold for £2,800. The funds donated will be directed towards the purchase of 5 specially adapted titanium wheelchairs to be used by the Wheelchair Basketball team at our Jerusalem rehabilitation centre.
