The annual Beit Halochem Whisky Tasting Evening took place on Thursday 10th November at The Waterway Pub in Maida Vale. A special thanks goes to The First Restaurant Group, generous sponsor of the event, whose owner Mitchell Tillman is a friend of the charity. 70 people attended the evening in which a total of £19,500 was raised, including the auction of a very special 1975 Glenlivet Whisky which was sold for £2,800. The funds donated will be directed towards the purchase of 5 specially adapted titanium wheelchairs to be used by the Wheelchair Basketball team at our Jerusalem rehabilitation centre. Thank you to everyone who attended the evening and who supported the charity so generously.
